Continental Nobility split between The Sacred Flame and the Amethyst Academy and war broke out. The Academy fighting for it’s right to exist and The Sacred Flame fighting to prevent history from repeating itself. Eventually the First King of Westemar, Erlich von Drakken, rose up and brokered a treatise between the three major powers: the Continental Nobility, The Sacred Flame and the Amethyst Academy. This treatise became known as The Edicts of Lumen.
