UVue is a freestanding kiosk at beaches and pools that shows you, in real time, exactly which patches of skin your sunscreen missed — by displaying your reflection overlaid with UV absorption data, the same way the sun already sees you. There’s no supplemental UV light added, no exaggeration: cloudy day, low contrast; bright day, vivid gaps. A 30-second spot check is free; a full five-minute scan costs five dollars; units sit alongside sunscreen vending for impulse purchase after someone sees what they missed. The goal is to make the invisible consequence of a common mistake visible before it becomes skin cancer.
