Safety

  • ✅ Generally MCAS supportive
  • ⚠️ FOS (fructooligosaccharides) is a prebiotic — some MCAS folks tolerate it, some don’t
  • ⚠️ Elderberry is immunostimulating — different concern than histamine, monitor individually
  • Vitamin C overlap with base mix is negligible (30mg vs 2,250mg)

Why Liquid Drops?

  • Liposomal delivery = higher absorption than capsules
  • Can be added directly to the tumbler
  • Single daily dose covers D3, K2, zinc, and quercetin
  • Eliminates need for multiple separate supplements

Key Ingredients Explained

Quercetin

Natural mast cell stabilizer — inhibits histamine release from mast cells. 1,000mg is on the higher end but within typical supplemental range. Half-life of 11-28 hours, so once daily is appropriate.

Bromelain

Enhances quercetin absorption significantly (well-documented synergy). Also has its own anti-inflammatory properties.

Vitamin D3 + K2

D3 and K2 work synergistically for calcium metabolism. D3 plays a role in electrolyte homeostasis. We identified D3 and zinc as important cofactors for magnesium utilization — this covers both.

Black Pepper (Piperine)

Absorption enhancer for turmeric and other compounds.

Why Not In The Powder Mix?

It’s a liquid — cannot be pre-mixed into dry powder batch. Must be added at the tumbler.
